Grubb Properties

For 50 years, our deep experience, diligent research and long-term outlook have guided us through the cyclical real estate markets. After safely navigating the most recent recession, Grubb Properties now is poised for continuing and sustainable growth over the next decade.

We take special pride that our No. 1 constituents – our investors – have shared in our success because we closely align our interests by taking a meaningful stake in all of our investments.

In the last 25 years, Grubb Properties has completed nearly $2 billion in transactions, including seven private equity real estate funds and encompassing more than 13,000 residential units and 2 million commercial square feet. As a vertically integrated real estate operating company, Grubb Properties offers a wide range of expertise in acquisitions and dispositions, property and asset management, investment, development and construction.

Our offices are in Charlotte, Raleigh and Lexington, N.C., and we focus on the vibrant southeastern U.S. markets, with its strong household formation and positive job growth. Within those markets, our daily investment and development decisions are based on supply-and-demand fundamentals, rather than the mere availability of capital that often drives speculation and creates unsustainable real estate bubbles.

Our multi-generational firm is owned by our employees and board members. Our tested management team, most of us together for more than a decade, has a combined 185 years of industry experience. Grubb Properties’ entire team is committed to support our communities and to champion energy efficiency and sustainability in all of our projects and business practices.
