Phase II of Link Apartments℠ NoDa 36th Welcomes New Residents

Phase II of Link Apartments℠ NoDa 36th opened at the end of 2024, welcoming its first residents and joining the initial phase of the community that debuted in 2023. This exciting expansion strengthens the presence of essential housing in Charlotte’s vibrant NoDa neighborhood, located within an Opportunity Zone. The development sits on the former Herrin Bros. Coal & Ice site, conveniently adjacent to the 36th Street Light Rail Station, offering residents easy access to public transit.

The two residential buildings feature a collection of 534 stylish studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments, ranging up to 1,151 square feet. Designed to support Charlotte residents in the middle of the income spectrum, these apartments offer high-quality finishes, including stainless steel appliances, granite countertops in kitchens and bathrooms, and energy-efficient air conditioning.

Residents enjoy a wide array of amenities, including a saltwater pool, a 24/7 state-of-the-art fitness center with an outdoor fitness deck, an elegant clubhouse, two landscaped courtyards, a dog wash station, co-working lounges, and multiple focus rooms.

Celebrating NoDa’s Unique Artistic Spirit

NoDa (short for North Davidson) stands as Charlotte’s arts and entertainment district, renowned for its eclectic galleries, music venues, and cultural landmarks. Reflecting the neighborhood’s vibrant character, Link Apartments℠ NoDa 36th incorporates inspiring indoor and outdoor murals throughout the property. Charlotte-based multimedia artist and illustrator Breanna “Bree” Stallings recently added her mural to the community. Her work joins Elizabeth Palmisano’s NoDa Cloud Wall, one of Charlotte’s largest public art installations, inspired by the neighborhood’s aspirations and dreams.

Building a Sense of Community

To mark the opening of Phase II, the Link Apartments℠ NoDa 36th team partnered with local businesses to host engaging community events. Sweat440, a local gym, sponsored a "Breakfast on the Go" event, while Levy Electric promoted the use of e-bikes and e-scooters available to residents. These collaborations encourage residents to embrace an active and sustainable lifestyle.
