LONG ISLAND CITY, NY – April 2, 2025 – Grubb Properties, a leader in the investment, development and management of multifamily apartment communities, launched leasing today at Link Apartments® QPN, located at 41-46 27th Street in Long Island City.
“Link Apartments® QPN addresses the surging pent-up demand for high-quality apartments offering exceptional value in one of New York City’s most sought-after neighborhoods,” said Clay Grubb, CEO, Grubb Properties. “We’re proud that it sets a high standard in attainable urban living through its inspired design, top-line amenities and convenient transportation access, and we look forward to welcoming residents into their brand-new homes.”
The 26-story building includes studio to two-bedroom apartments with monthly rents starting from the $4,000’s, and grand opening incentives that include up to two months free (restrictions may apply). Initial occupancy is scheduled for mid-April. The Marketing Directors is the exclusive marketing and leasing agent.
Designed by Handel Architects, the residences feature nine-foot ceilings, luxury plank flooring, in-home washers and dryers, and complimentary window treatments. The kitchens boast stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and full-height backsplash, soft-close cabinetry, and under-cabinet lighting, along with porcelain tile floors and tiled wet walls in the baths.
Residents at Link Apartments® QPN will also enjoy over 35,000 sq. ft. of curated amenities, including a 24-hour concierge, outdoor pool and sundeck with cabanas and outdoor shower, rooftop terrace with skyline views, and barbeques and outdoor dining areas. Other highlights include a resident lounge, state-of-the-art fitness center, co-working spaces, library nook, game room, and a garden courtyard with two dog runs. On-site resident and bike storage is available, and the pet-friendly building hosts a pet spa.
The building also includes 7,000 square feet of ground floor retail space.
One of Link Apartments® QPN’s best amenities is its 7-minute commute to Manhattan with direct access to the Metropolitan Transit Authority’s (MTA) Queensboro Plaza subway station’s 7, N and W trains through a new, fully accessible entrance, pedestrian bridge connection and additional elevator. Grubb Properties partnered with the Department of City Planning and Metropolitan Transportation Authority to participate in New York’s Zoning for Accessibility program. This was only the second use of the Zoning for Accessibility program, and the first outside of Manhattan.
Art plays a notable role in the design of Link Apartments® QPN, aiming to inspire residents, beautify their surroundings and help foster a sense of community. Grubb Properties commissioned original pieces, including several by local artists, that reflect the character of the building and the neighborhood. The artwork is displayed throughout the building, including the first-floor lounge and mail room, the 12th floor lounge and co-working space, and the elevator lobbies. The artists include Emilio Perez, Naomi Kawanishi Reis, KAWS, Stefan Heyne, Tara Donovan and Liz Roache. The courtyard features a sculpture park with works by John Clement and the bike room and dog spa features works by Yuke Li.
Handel Architects drew inspiration for the design of Link Apartments® QPN from the industrial feel of the waterfront warehouse structures that previously lined the Queens waterfront, expressed in ironspot brick and varied fenestration pattern.
